Product Description:

This connector kit converts over-the-ear protective earmuffs into earmuffs with communication capabilities. Due to differences in adapter versions, it is not recommended to use this kit on its own.

When used in conjunction with a PTT from our product line, our Y-cable is compatible with both original and non-original military standards. If you use our Y-cable without a PTT from this series, the Y-cable may not be compatible. Therefore, do not disassemble this assembly; the Y-cable must be used in conjunction with a PTT.

This cable is equipped with two plugs and one jack. The first plug is a military-standard 7.00mm plug that can be inserted directly into the PTT to connect to a walkie-talkie. The second plug is a 2-pin Comta microphone plug used to connect the headset. This allows you to connect the headset to the microphone for communication. The third jack is a COMTA microphone jack used to connect the microphone to the headset.

This Y-cable is compatible with tactical IPSC COMTA headsets. The wireless, microphone-less headsets in the IPSC version can be converted into tactical headsets, allowing you to connect a walkie-talkie for communication.

The K PTT is compatible with all series of tactical headsets, offering simple operation and a compact design.

For COMTA II III Microphones:

Compatible with COMTA tactical noise-canceling headsets.

The soft foam effectively protects the microphone from damage and scratches.

Please note: If the microphone fails to transmit sound, try inserting the plug in the opposite direction and adjusting the polarity.

Installation—Connect the cable plug correctly to the headset’s jack, then connect it to the walkie-talkie to begin communication.
